Kickstart problem
 

Just rebuild the bottom end of my engine but it all back toghether had a bit of an issue with tranny oil and water mixing but thats all sorted the only problem i have is its like theres no tension to my kickstart i can kick it fine but it wont tension back, the spring is all on properly what should i do?

Check the plastic bushing that resides in between the shaft and the spring and make sure that the relief slot in the bushing is properly indexed on the spring.

I am no expert, but there are two springs.
The one that is 'weak' and pushes the gear up, and then there is the spring that provides the tension, or the force that brings the kickstarter back to the 'rest' position.
I believe that this spring can be installed in multiple positions. Too much one way provides to weak of a return, too much the other way provides for a extremely strong return.
I don't know if you can tell it's right or wrong until you install the kickstarter and give it a try.
I put my kickstarter on before I put he case side on just to test it.
I think I installed it a little too strong, but the enemy of good is perfect.
