Myself and about 10 other gasgas riders had a crack at the hardest race in Australia on the weekend. It was great fun all weekend. My 2019 EC300 ran great. NECH #3, 42,175 for you jetting nerds.

The track was probably more technical than it has ever been. I started next to Kirsten Landman from South Africa. She was worried about the first big hole, but later she told me that she had 7 goes at one hill.

I never take it too serious. Just ride around, do some skids, talk to people in the crowd. Help out if people are stuck or hurt and just have fun. GasGas Chris and others will put up some good stories about the event, but I will put up the pics I find.

GasGas Australia supported all the riders with a mechanic in the pits to help any gg rider throughout the day. It was great to see such support.

I changed out of my fancy dress into gasgas gear half way through the race as I was overheating.

3min 15 sec in even Wade Young struggles.

And yes, that is a 2000 Kawasaki stockman getting around in the clip.

Keg, thanks for the pep talk at the creek - you helped me push on & finish. I am still totally exhausted. What a track - it was brutal.

Was our brand ambassador Nollsy there? Good on GG for helping out their customers with a mechanic-great to see!

Dunno about Youngy struggling, maybe just working a little harder than he'd like to.
