What cool mods have you done?

I came across this picture in Jostby's photo gallery. Awesome.

thanks for the compliment on my totally redneck chainsaw scabbard. It's made from plastic from a 5 gallon bucket and attaches to the fork with hose clamps with inner-tube underneath to protect the tube from scratching. It's definitely noticeable when riding. I keep telling myself I'm going to refine it so it doesn't look so tacky!

Tacky? No sir, that is pure art.

Nothing 'RedNeck' about that, more like ingenious.

It sure beats try'n to lug it around on your back. Look's good to me.

Yeah, I am totally copying that.

There's a piece of 1" x 1/8" metal strap about 16" long on the inside to give the hose clamps something to hold. I also used washers to shim it to make a gap so the bar would slide in and out easily.
It actually isn't too bad to ride with. It's hardest on tight single-track when trying to avoid trees while going fast, it slows the steering quite a bit :D

Hey, you could be on to something here. A revolutionary new "inertia steering damper". Consists of a 20 pound piece of lead, machined from solid billet (of course), mounted on gold anodized alloy T mounts that position the lead weight 18 inches in front of the headlight. The stored inertia of the lead weight prevents rapid and unexpected deflections of the bars...... yeah I'm gonna apply for a patent....I could sell thousands of these things....

Put a longer chain on it and a front sprocket on the wheel.

Something like this.....

google 'sam xuereb' if you want to see some weird stuff.

That looks like the Christini version 1.0
