Changing fork oil 2018

I have never changed fork oil. I am a bit confused after reading the manual and watching videos on YouTube. The video I watched had someone putting 2 different quantities of oil into 2 different spots. In the manual for 2018 it says that for oil is 950 ml in the beginning of the book but then when you get to the page about changing the oil it says the quantity is 350 ml. This has me thinking I would have to add oil in two different spots of two different quantities like in the video. When I look at the book for 2019 with same suspension, it says that oil quantity is 350 ml in the beginning of the book instead of 950 ml like the 2018 book. When doing oil change do I only put 350 ml in for the whole fork and only in one spot?

Here is the video I am talking about. Oil change for kyb forks

The 350ml is the oil volume for the outer chamber. People sometimes use a lower volume depending on their set-up and preference.

You will also need to add oil to the inner chamber. I do not typically measure the oil in the inner chamber as any excess oil is forced out of the cartridge when bleeding the air. I believe the volume is somewhere in the 200-220 ml range, but the manual should tell you.

Here are two videos that I have found useful:

Watch these two videos. You will know exactly what you need. He does it step by step and explains it very well.
