05 engine in a 07 frame
 

Any issues with this swap? Seems like it should be straightforward. Also is the 250 ignition different than the 300, or the 200?

Different subframe so the exhaust may be tricky.

The motor will bolt right in. Ignitions should be the same as well (250 to 300). Most of the '05 GasGas bikes that made it into the US had the "Hi-lo" ignition even though it officially didn't make it into the line up until '06. The only thing missing was the "hi-lo" switch.

Perfect! Now we need a 05+ motor.
