Ec450f 2013 seat problem
 

Happy new year all !

I have just brought a new Blackbird racing seat cover for my bike and have hit a wall before I even start removing the old cover :mad:

How on earth do you remove the washer/captive insert that the securing bolt goes thru at the rear of the seat, is it one piece,threaded or push fit????? it really won't budge:confused:

All mine have had an external circlip underneath to retain the aluminium (sorry,aluminum) spacer.

p.s. The blackbird cover is a great piece of kit that will last eons too!

Sorry mate,my memories of the 2011 and earlier 2t seats were peened over from underneath.
