Red forks on the 2010 gassers?

Hi All

What are the red forks on the 2010 gassers? My 200 has them and the 300 siz days has them Im confused I always thought the 200 had different forks?

I am not sure but my 2010 Ec 300 has them. I think it's just a 2010 thing. My 2010 brochure has Marocchi 45 mm listed for the 125/200 and the Sachs 48 listed for the 250/300's. So you have a 2010 200 and a 2010 Six Days?

lol, I wish. I have a 2010 ec200 which has the same red forks.

So how do you like your 200? Hows the bottom end pull?

Blanc: Where are you located? Different regions got different suspension (so it would seem).

Hi, I am in Kildare, Ireland. Any Idea what make size the forks are? I presume they are an upgrade on the 200?

Didn't the "race" models come with red sachs forks? These had more aggressive valving and springs than the standard sachs forks used on the non race models.

Tough to tell exactly what they are. Earlier Sachs forks fitted to the Racing models had adjustable preload caps. I would have expected a 45mm Marzocchi on the 200 EC- take a set of calipers out and measure them up and let us know at least that much.

Blanc, they would be Marzocchi forks. That's what Nick told me was coming on all his bikes as they've experience on them from TM's too.

Robs.

Red anodized forks = Sachs 48mm forks

200's should have 45mm Zokes. My guess, a screw up at the factory (wouldn't be the first time), changed at the dealer because someone prefered the Zokes over the Sachs and the little 200 was the rape victim, or less likely but possible a regional/country thing.
