General: Howdy, just bought my first Gasser. She is giving a few teething problems, looked awesome when I got her, but the rear exhaust is literally falling apart inside, and needs replacing. The bike also has serious bog or lag in the mid to high rpm range, but I will first get the pipe sorted and start looking at issues from then on.
So far, coming from a YZ 250, I cannot say the Gasser is much of an improvement, but hopefully once all the issues are sorted I will have a different opinion. :(

What year model is your bike, had some jetting issues with mine as it came from capetown, bought from rockgarden. I took the bike to WAC enduro in Kya sands, got great service from them.

The bike is a 2007 (or 2008), has a 173 main, 35 Pilot, N3EH needle (finally confirmed). Position is on the middle clip. Bogging has progressively worsened..

Update - The issue was a combination of blocked fuel tap and a much harder to trace kill switch cable that had chafed through inside the outer sheath and was shorting out with the vibration.
Bike runs extremely well now!

Jets is same as mine, can't remember what needle he put in. Speak to Wayne @ 082 332 2527, he will be able to tell you what needle to use etc.

Thanks, I was told the jetting and needle was done by Wayne, but I will give him a call. Seems my problem could lie elsewhere.....

No, not yet, unfortunately I've not had the time to even start looking for fault! I'm really hoping to look things over this weekend..

Wow but time flies! So coming back to my original Gasser, the issue was eventually found to have been a combination of a blocked fuel tap, and a very elusive kill switch cable which had chafed through inside the outer sheath and was making intermittent contact.
Since sorting this out I have had many hours of trouble free riding and absolutely love the bike!
Just got my hands on a 2011 EC300, so I now have two parked next to each other..

I may have a Gasser or two in the garage.

After 7 odd years off bikes, my sons and I are back. I got myself a Husaberg FE 350, but couldn't get comfortable on it, so Ive just gone back to GasGas.
