1998ec 250 What forks come factory?

I have a 98 ec 250 and I am having my suspension set up. My bike has 50mm WP conventionals on it. I called Gofasters and they don't show this information. I am not having any luck at getting fork bushings for these online. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I know I can get them at the KTM stealership but would like another route.:(

The stock fork on most, and I emphasize most 1998 Gas Gas bikes are Marzocchi Magnum 45's. There are exceptions. The Six Days bikes came with the WP extreme 50's, as you have, so this may be the model you own, but they may have been included on other models as well (there was an XC then too).

The KTM stealer may be your best bet to ensure you get the right parts. Just knowing what you have should enable you to search for the parts aside from them though. Have you checked ebay?

Yes sir I have checked ebay and all thats there is 43,45,48mm stuff. Rockymt atv has the bushing kit and they want 168 per fork. I would be better off to buy a triple tree ans other fork set up for that kind of money. Thanks for the info you provided. I will call gofasters with my serial number to make sure of what i have. thanks again

My '98 has the 50mm Marzocchi.
I suspect it started it's life as an MC250.

I may have a spare set of seals and wipers if you have these forks and run into
trouble finding replacements. From what I am told. These forks start leaking
when the bushing wear too far and take out the seals.

Yo Slocal, I've got some excellent black sliders for those forks.. I'm heading for Disneyland Friday. Let me know if you want them.
