S3 Cylinder head does not fit

Hello,
I bought a S3 cylinder head for my 1998 Gasgas EC250, but it is too big. On the website it said "fits from 1998-2017". The Bolt circle on the S3 head is 95mm. The one on my cylinder is 88mm. I did not really find something online, but may my bike have a 1997 motor? It also has the balancer shaft.
If so, can i get the S3 head for a 1997 motor? I really want it, but i dont want to buy a new cylinder (but the cylinder would interchange between 97 and 98 onwards, right?)

may out of luck, if you still have the 97 head, can always get that rechambered and perhaps cerakoted if you are looking for an aesthetic boost.

I still have the original head. I bought the S3 head mainly for aesthetics. So you think if i get it ceracoated it will hold up to the temperature?

it should hold up just fine.

Ceracoat will be fine. Getting the chamber reprofiled and squish down to 1mm will make you happy with the result. Need to get chamber done in conjunction with skim.
