Machining Project Part 3: Stainless Wheel Spacers

Hi guys,
Here's my last project from my machining class.

They're made from 416, which isn't the preferred material (that would be 440) but it is still heat treatable. The good side is 416 machines pretty easy (compared to some of the other stainless steels) so I made 2 sets of wheel spacers.

Hopefully I'll be able to make some more down the road. I also want to make some aluminum ones and either hard anodize them or use a HVOF coating on them and see how they compare to the stainless steel spacers.

Nice job. I would make a set for the front now as well. I think you will find the SS is the best way to go.
