Speedo Sensor and mounting

Can someone post up the speedo sensor and where/how it mounts? My bike is missing one and want to make sure the part is correct.

Thanks! It is electrical correct? What is it reading on the wheel/rotor?

I also assume the bracket is holding it in place?

I;m not sure what you are asking, but if you mean the wheel diameter that varies with every tire.

No, the bracket I think you are referring to is just a guard. The sensor threads right into the caliper mount.

I mean since its not mechanical then it must use a magnet and pickup. Wondered where the magnet is on the rotor or wheel.

Look at the lower left hand side of the hub and you can see the magnet between the hub and disk.

The plastic part there with the 2 metal pieces on it?

It's aluminum with a round magnet on it.

I circled it here:

I wondered what that was, so how is that mounted to the wheel or is it to the rotor?

It's mounted to the hub, with a small screw.

BTW, what year bike are you trying to mount this on?
