clutch plates
I have a 98 ec250 and the clutch plates are fried!!
does anyone know if their are any part crossovers? or whether plates from a newer gasser will fit,as I see plenty of kits for 00 onwards thanks |
Yes, they will fit. Other than the 125, all engine sizes share the same clutch drive plates and friction disks.
I like OEM and the Moose kits made for them by Dunlopad (I believe) the best. I think they also supplied the OEM GG parts after 2005 or so. At least they started looking the same about that time. The friction disks look identical to a CR250R, but the CR friction disk is 3mm thick, where the GasGas disks are 2.7mm thick. I did find a crossover with an old Honda CX500 street bike, but didn't like either the Vesrah nor Barnett material's performance. The metal drive plates are unique to GasGas. |
