Air filter cage
 

Just got a gas gas 01 200ex and bike don't idle so first thing I check was the air filter. Filter was new but there was no cage. So I was wandering if it came with one or not? And if another bike air filter cage could replace the oem one. Thanks

Find the parts book. Several bikes being parted out here but you'll need an early one.

I believe a Honda CR 250 cage is the same. I'd go back to the guy who sold you the bike and tell him he's an idiot though.

The 2001 used the same air filter as the 88-01 CR 250, I'd bet you the air filter cage is the same.

I'm sure it would have sealed ok as long as you don't, like start it at any time.

There is supposed to be a cage in there???:D
