2011 ec200 - speedo/tach/hr meter stock?
 

Hi all -

Just picked up a new-to-me '11 ec200 six days and have what will probably be a stupid question. Was the bike supposed to come with the dash PC covering speed, hours, etc?

The user manual I downloaded (that's specific to the '11 six days 200) covers its use...but my bike doesn't have one? Not sure if the original owner took it off and forgot to tell me about it?

I don't think any of the US models got the computer in 2011

Interesting - nice of them to let us know in the manual...LOL.

It would have been nice, I bought my bike w/o knowing the hours and that's something that always bugs me - want to know what's been racked up.

Even with a speedo and/or hour meter you never really know if its right or not. They're so easy to replace or disconnect anyway.

For 2010 models the Gas Gas OEM unit is a trailtech vapor. In 2011 they swapped to the vector. I believe if you buy one (you can get the whole kit for around $120) it all hooks up very hassle free.

Only the euro models that came with full lighting kit (indicators, tail light, etc) received the speedo. Owners manual cant come close to covering all the variances between models distributed world wide. Disregard most of whats printed in it.
