Quick Comparison: GG FSE450 '05 vs Husaberg FE450 '07

Did a short testdrive of a friends new Husaberg yesterday.

Engine characteristics: The Husa has a nice powerband, perhaps a little exponential feel, a little at first, then fast increasing. But nowhere near the crisp response of the FSE.
* GG - HSB 1-0

Suspension is a draw, as far as my riding abilities can take it.

Chassis: The husa felt a little long, perhaps because the stock taper bar has very little pullback. The gas tank sucked. It was very wide at the point were I wanted to squeeze my knees in, and also it had a quite noticable angle there. I couldn't get the grip of the bike.
* GG-HSB 2-0

Technical solutions: The husa uses the frame under the tank as airbox, and the filter sits on top of the frame tube. This makes the husa almost an amphibian.
* GG-HSB 2-1

I'm keeping my Gasser. If there were no such thing as a Gasgas, i might consider a Husaberg.
