Leatt Neck Brace 5.5 GPX or the New 3.5 GPX?
 

I am going to buy a new Leatt brace to go with my 5.5 Pro HD Chest Protector. Do I go with the dual adjustable 5.5 GPX or the brand new 3.5 GPX which comes out in one week? And does anyone know I had get a good price on these?


This is the new 3.5, it looks like there is a cut out relief in the back of the brace collar now.

This is the older 5.5 which seems a little nicer to me but is the 3.5 a newer superior design?

I also recently got a 5.5 Pro HD chest protector as well. I went with the 3.5 GPX my thought was maybe you don't need the adjustment on both ends with the chest protector as may act like a shim. I figured it if didn't fit right I could always return and step up, but wouldn't likely step down. I have the 3.5 GPX on order through RMATVMC, I think it comes in stock in a couple weeks. This is my first neck brace so the whole thing is new to me, we'll see how it goes.

Have a few rides on the setup now. No complaints, I don't really notice it is there much. The only time which isn't bad is when you coming to one g outs with a steep hill ahead, I can't quite look all the way where I want to.

I'm noticed a number of people out riding if the same setup. So seems to be working for others as well.

The more adjustability of the upper models IMO seems totally unnecessary for this 3.5 neck brace + 5.5 HD Pro chest protector.

I never could get comfortable with my 5.5 HD Chest Protector, it just didn’t work for me. I sold it to a buddy 3 weeks ago and he likes it.
