Leak down test

Hey guys. I have been reading the site for years and it has to be the classiest forum on the internet. I just rebuilt the top and bottom end on my 2001 EC300. After getting it back together, it is very weak. No mid or top. It sputters when trying to rev. It has to be push started to crank it. I used new gaskets and seals, but it seems like a possible air leak. Is there any way to leak down test this bike? It has great compression also. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

What did you check/change? Ring ends set correctly? Whats the squish? Powervalve serviced/cleaned and working?

New crank bearings, new piston an rings, new gaskets and seals, new shift shaft, all gas gas parts from gofasters. Compression is great. I did not check the squish, but it ran good before. I cleaned the powervalve, and I think I set it like the forums say on this site. I want to believe the PV is set correct since everything I read says that low end will be bad when it's not set correct, but all I have is low end. No mid or top.

Perhaps the power valve is not opening. Take off the left side power valve cover and watch the end of the shaft. You should only need moderate revs before it starts to rotate.

Ok, I'll say it....... Did you take the rag out of the air box?
