Gas Gas MC 125 questions

:) Hello!

I just bought an used Gas Gas MC 125 from 2005, I have a few questions for:

Does the plastic from the 2007 model EC fit on my bike? (I am considering buying a polisport kit, if it fits)

Does my bike share rear sprockets, with other Gas Gas models?

Is it true that I can use a Honda piston on my bike?

My fork is a bit leaky, what will I have to change to make it tight?

I am also considering buying the FMF Gnarly or the Dep 2 stroke exhaust - Which one would you choose? Will I have to adjust the carburator if I fit another exhaust pipe? And can I use the stock silencer?

Hope you can help me

-Best regards,

Plastic requires upgrade to the '07 subframe/tank/seat.

Rear sprockets are the same as other GG all years (as well as Husky)

Countershaft sprocket is 125 specific.

Not sure about the '05, but the '01/'02 can use a '00 YZ125 piston kit

Hinson clutch basket for a Honda CR125.

Fork is same as larger GGs, change seals.

FMF is good for more bottom on the 125, good in woods. We don't get the DEP pipe here.

Thank you, does anyone have a 100% correct answer about the piston? - Its my biggest issue at the moment.

Just found out that my bike use the same piston as the earlier models, does it also share the Yamaha gaskets? (for the cylinder)

I 've used the YZ 125 pistons with no problems. But I would stick with OEM gaskets from GasGas. The yz base gasket is not the same.
