Similarities/Differences 2004-2006 EC300

I am looking at purchasing a 2006 EC300 parts bike to keep my 2004 EC300 going. Does anyone know offhand any differences between the years? It looks like the rims may be different, but will the wheels still bolt on? Engine wise? Chassis wise, frame/subframe/seat/plastics?

Appreciate any info. Thanks.

I've had 01 and 07 250s and the differences I remember were: 07 had lighter wheels(dented both in the first few months), one different bearing and spacer in the rear wheel, different suspension(Marz/Sachs vs WP/Olinns), and no hump on the left side of the engine cases for a counter balancer.

The engines won't swap due to the lower case changes. I think the change was in 2005? But I have read that the internals are identical across the years, including cylinder head and jug.

Then it's just cosmetics and ancillary bolt-ons, as I understand.

Oh man, I thought the engines at least would swap. Can anyone confirm?
