Kenda Millville?
 

Okay guys who has tried them and how did the pan out? I really like the Maxxis SI's that I had on my 2004 300. When I got the 07 I got a heck of a deal on some 756's but they just wear down way to quick for my liking. I can get 2 Millville's for the price of one 756.

If all else fails I will go back to the SI's.

Get the Maxxis. Milvilles hook up GREAT when new but they wear out too quickly. I still use Milvilles for a lot of races but there's no way I'll just go riding with one.

For practicing I use the Maxxis IT most of the time. I can get over a month of riding out of one of those tires.

Maybe they changed the compound, because the ones I had a few years ago sucked, worst tire I ever had. VERY hard compound that didn't hook up on anything hard and especially wet. Sand maybe, mut there are better sand tires as well. A decent all around and good rock tire for a good price is an IRC VE33, very similar to a Pirelli MT-16.

We have used them for a few years and love the traction and price. They are, however, disposable tires. They are good for about half a season for an average trail rider or C rider, and usually only good for one B class and up race.

One Michelin M12 will last the life of 3 Millvilles. (I'll be slapping on an SI this spring, my first time with a Maxxis.)

But for the price, I have to say the Millvilles are great tires. Just don't expect them to last forever.

I see they have changed the compound, now its called the "Millville Sticky". Is there both a Millville and Millville Sticky? I had two early ones, a few years back when they came out.

Stickys are new. Haven't tried one. They still have the "old" compound too. We never had problems with traction on Millvilles in the mixed Minnesota soil. Rocks, roots and fire roads do chew the Millvilles up good though.

Personally, I like Michelins. Thought I'd give the Maxxis SI a try since I've heard so many guys like them.

Mine were brutal stiff, very hard to mount also. Maybe I had a couple bad ones?

The Spanish S12s were good but the new Thiland made ones seem to self destruct/wear faster. I have one I'm saving it for a sand only race.

I am going back with the Maxxis SI's. They were great tires that really hooked up well and lasted longer than any other tire I tried.
