Yes, they are sealed bearings, and there are normal lip seals there too. It would be better to pull them out and replace them, they wont get better from greasing them, too late for that now.
The bearings and seals are off the shelf items, wont be hard to match up at a bearing supplier.

EDIT
Got your PM, its an 01. The bearings should be 6004 2rs(sealed), easiest way to be sure is to pull the old bearings out and read the part number off the side of them.
The ones in the ebay ad may not work, im not sure whether they wheels and axle are the same.

I have an 05 ec200 and I believe the hubs are worn and the bearings spin in their seats. Buy good quality bearings! I dot punched the hub and used a bearing / stud glue. Will let you know how I get on.

Why so much trouble with wheel bearings? Do you guys pressure wash? Do you run the soft OEM spacers that groove and let dirt and water in fast? A few things and you will eliminate bearing problems:

Start off with fresh bearings, seals, and HARD spacers. Make or have stainless ones made at a shop and they will last for years. The alloy ones are a joke, and so are some of the hard coated alloy rear spacers. I found the dia undersized in an attempt to reduce seal pressure and wear, but this is like starting out with a worn spacer. I made up stainless sleeves and pressed them on a few of these.

Leave the sealed bearings alone, removing the factory seals and repacking the bearings is not the answer. Lube the seal lips and pack the gap between the seal and the bearing completely with a good waterproof grease like Castrol Pyroplex Blue. This is your barrier.

Remove your wheels, clean everything, and repack as above every couple rides and every time the wheel is off. If you notice more crap getting past the seal and into the grease behind it, change the seal.

Oh, and don't pressure wash.

Thats how I do it Glenn. I need to get some new spacers though as the alloy ones are grooving out from the seals.

I got around 3000+kms out of the front set, and just changed the rears at 4500kms. This is riding loads of mud and creek crossings. I pull and grease the axels and check the bearings every couple rides due to the conditions.
