fork oil weight, 2014 48mm
Hey guys, getting motivated to do a rebuild on my forks this spring, anyone have knowledge on the weight of oil Marzocchi used on there forks from the factory? 5w? I'm looking to retain the stock feel as it worked very well for me.

Marzocchi 7.5wt
You'll need to research to see what kind of viscosity their particular oil is though and then pick something similar. |
The Zoke 7.5wt oil is 26.1 cst @ 40c. Any oil, regardless of claimed weight, with a similar cst@40 rating will perform like the original fork oil.
Full specs are... Marzocchi 7.5wt fork oil 26.1 cst @ 40c 5.25 cst @ 100c 150 viscosity index (reported) 135 viscosity index (recalculated) 0.80 viscosity temperature coefficient 4.97 VT (cst@40/cst@100) |
Thanks guys! I appreciate it

After a bunch of googling, I found this list of CST values for many brands / weights of suspension fluid. There were others, but this list has been organized by CST @40C.

Just use ATF dexron 3 or 6 where 7.5w is called for
