Help with 2K2 -2K3

I need some help with changing from 2K2 to 2K3. I'm concerned about timing the stator. The 2K2 stator only used 2 bolts and the 2K3 uses 3 smaller bolts. I understand from GMP (Thank you so much) that there is an insert in the 2 o'clock slot that positions the stator. It appears that I do not have this insert. anybody have a good picture of a correctly installed 2K3 stator ? I am attaching a picture of what I have. Thanks

Should be no problem doing it with a good reference. |

OK now I have a problem, got stuff from GoFasters and lo & behold wrong thing. #25934014 is only 9 numbers off but it won't work for what I need.
Does anybody have picture or measurement that will tell me where I need to position the stator in relation to the case? Also I'm going to the non dual mapping CDI and searches tell me they mounted under the tank (not near enough harness to get it to the air box where the original was) but for the life of me I don't see a spot to put it. Help?? Thanks |
