Price estimate for my EC 300?

The local Husqvarna dealer is trying to dump their 2016 inventory and the thought is definitely crossing my mind to get one and be done with my project machine.

It's a 2000 XC 300 with the following upgrades:

2K3 coil
2007 upgrade kit, steel subframe
Endurance II
2013 Marzocchis
Supermoto wheel set, about 100 miles on them
Spare cylinder (needs replate) and head
Titled and plated

At the end of the day, it's still a 2000 XC 300, but I saw that 1998 go for about 1400 with mix/matched plastics.

I've never made money on a dirt bike and don't expect that to change, but I'm curious what it would be worth to a cautious buyer.

Do you have the stock wheels and whatever else you would need to use it as a dirtbike? Where are you located?

Thanks Steve

Oh wow, I was just trying to get a ballpark price. I am in Colorado, but sometimes find myself in Kansas City and other times in Joplin. It's wearing the stock wheels with a fresh rear Motoz tire and a healthy Michelin S12 XC front. The supermoto wheels need a set of bearings, I'd pulled them out and put them into the dirt wheels and it's not really a healthy process for the bearings to swap them.

You have options. The older bikes in good condition that have a title and are street legal go for bit more. Maybe closer to $1.8k to $2.3k for the bike alone. Then make a deal for the extra wheels and other parts or keep them and sell them here to get a proper price for them.

I paid $900 for my '99. But I got a very good deal. Then put about $800 into it. That includes piston, gaskets, tires, tubliss and suspension tuning. Your extra wheels will get you more. And mines pretty cherry.

I now have new
Plastics and graphics.

My friend sold his '99 300 last fall for $2100 in Boulder, CO. It was pretty well used, but had lots of new parts and had just been completely gone through.

I'd say you could get $2k for it from the right buyer on the front range. Put it on Craigslist and see what happens. I might actually know someone that might be interested.
