Snapped valves on 02 400
 

Hi there,

I have snapped two valves on my 02 400fse, after taking the head off i have discovered that my head is mangled (Not sure if it is salvagable have asked a mate to take it 2 a local head specialist so fingers crossed on that one) The barrel seems fine but the piston is knackered also the con rod is bent :(

My question is do any other engines fit the frame?? Whats the best way to sort this problem?? Has anyone got anything for sale?? HELP

What fits the frame?
Not sure but a DRZ motor might. When I look at my DRZ and my FSE side by side everything looks the same.

As far as motor parts go, I have heard that the DRZ pistons, valves and heads are the same as the early FSE. I don't know about the conn. rods or cranks.
