Alloy Ultima foot brake lever

Do someone have good experience with this product
http://www.offroadracing-pilz.de/sho...ges/7114_0.JPG
is the material strong enough for hard offroad use it looks very thin

Or is it rubbish?

someone else here mentioned it was very flimsy, and bent first ride....

gasgasman 09-29-2010 05:24 PM

It is very flimsy.
There's no mounting point for the return spring and it bends when pushed down.

Its crap. Very flimsy. Breaks at the mounting bolt. Soft metal. Stock way better.

I bought the Mecca brake pedal (from GoFasters) over a year ago- no complaints at this time. Looks just like that but apparently is tougher

I bought the Mecca pedal from GoFasters in August. On the third day riding with it I leaned the bike against a stump (no crashing was involved) and when I picked it up the pedal was bent in under the frame rail and the return spring mounting hole was cracked out. The foot pad portion of the pedal then disintegrated over the next 2 days, killing the pedal before the cracked out return spring hole could finish killing it.
Needless to say, I was VERY disappointed.
I need to look into that '98 KX pedal conversion.
