Power valve Drain

Hi Guys i am workning on my 07 300 gg and noticed that the PV was not draning the oil out the spigot with the hose it looks as if it has been plugged from the start?? It should be free flowing right?. What made me curious i took off the large PV cover that i bought back then and decided to put the orginal Plate back on i always used to drain it by the drain hole provided by the LTR group. Oh And the reason i took the big PV cover off is so i could get more hit does this make sence?

I don't think CA allows a PV drain.
I think they want you to remove the cover after each ride and take the spooge to a recycling facility.

What kind of oil are you running to get accumulation if spooge in the pv cover?!? I had nearly 80 hours with only a slight black residue with the drain plugged.

good one Brian!! you know cali well i think next year we will have the EPA following us around with ticket book in hand. I use Amzoil and have great results from it. intercepter i think?

:D
The drain should be open. You could jet your bike lean enough that the spooge will be negligible. I run mine a bit rich and I do get some drip out of the drain.
I also run Amsoil Interceptor or Dominator, whichever one I feel like grabbing when I'm in the store. The Dominator, being red, makes it easier to see how much fuel I have in the tank.
