My new winter ride

Just picked up a new (to me) winter toy because I can't stand not riding for half a year.
Anyone have one of these or ridden one before?

It's a Snowhawk 600HO. Now we just need some snow.

Damn, I want one of those! Too bad they are so hard to find. I was considering selling my sled and just running a hawk all winter instead.

a fellow rider i know just picked up a used one.
looks like it could be fun in the fluffy stuff
not so sure on the frozen hardpack stuff. the coners in this neck of the woods usually turn to ice .... when I see one of those things
visions of painful get offs dance around my head!!

I just talked to a guy in Kelowna BC that has 3 for sale.... an 800 and 2 600's!
They don't seem to come up for sale that often so I jumped on this one when I saw it.

They are pretty tough to get the hang of. I have ridden one and I fell off it some many times I lost interest in it.

It would be more fun in the powder. On hard pack, it sucked.

looks to me like it will give you a SERIOUS workout riding it.

I had a bug for one of those and decided the hard pack snow we usually get, would not be the hot set up. So I just stud up my knobbies and put heated grips on the dirt bike. A quick hour of riding each week in the winter and I get my fix.
