Playing phone tag with Ohlins USA. No luck elsewhere. Still looking.

And according to Ohlins the serial numbers on the fork feet have never been in their system. Anybody got 48mm Ohlins on their bike they can get me the serial numbers from?
|
And screwed. Part # is obsolete, sold out. Anybody got any ideas?
Basically what happened is the internal threads of the cap that screw on to the damping rod have pulled out, I thought about heli-coiling, but it is a very screwy size 12mm x .80 thread pitch and I can't seem to find anything. |
I have a very good local machine shop that will make anything. If you can't find anybody local to you. Try these guys in Richmond. Clay is a wizard. Tell him Matt Hadfield sent you.

Have you tried overseas? What is the serial number on the bottom of the fork legs?
The Ohlins site doesn't show that they had a fork for the 2004 Gassers so is there a chance that it has come from another year model or even another brand? |
