USB-C charging for smartphone
 

I have a Pixel 2, and figured it'd work great as a basic GPS and nav device for my new-to-me 2018 EC300.

What are my options to add charging capability? I searched this forum but other than some questions on GPS devices, didn't find much on the topic.

Pretty sure the stock charger offers 18w power delivery. I don't know what my car charger in the 12v socket does, but that's more than enough. Obviously I'd prefer not to hardwire something to the battery.

I use something similar on my CRF450x, and on a couple other bikes before that. It's worked brilliantly for five years and probably 15,000 offroad miles. (I can't get a mile away from the truck without having to use my phone GPS to get back).

Oddly enough, after I installed this on my EC300, I started having electrical gremlins. Don't think it's related, but just odd. See my post...
