Newbie...just bought 2014 300R, need advice

Just bought a brand new 2014 300r 2 stroke. While I wait for delivery, I have some basic questions I am hoping the Gas Gas community can help me out with.

1) The recommendation is 50:1 oil mix (synthetic), anyone see an issue with this? Sounds about the same as most other 300's on the market.

2) Handle bars...I see they have a cross bar, but are they 7/8th or 1 1/8th? I use Zeta wrap around handguards and want to make sure I order the right ones.

3) Handle bars...are the base mounts adjustable on the top clamp? If so how many positions?

4) Footpegs...I see they are adjustable and I am kind of tall 5'11". Anyone run them in the lower position?

5) How many teeth come on the rear sprocket? Manual has different options

6) Transmission...the manual shows 2 available? Which one would the EC300R come with?

7) Gear Oil is recommended at 10w-30. That is very light for gear oil? I was thinking 75W

8) Does the hydraulic clutch use standard brake fluid (high temp of course)?

9) I thought I read the stock exhaust pipe on the 2014 is an FMF Gnarly?

10) Who makes a shorter aftermarket silencer without the spark arrestor?

11) How is stock jetting?

12) What kind of sag does the bikes like (100..105)?

13) What weight rider is the stock suspension set up for?

14) I notice the 300 has provisions for turn signals (switch on handle bars). If I bought some of those fancy led turn signals in the handguards, would they work?

Sorry for the massive blast, but this is probably just enough to get me started on the first ride.

* I mix at 40 to1 with this, http://www.cyclegear.com/MOTUL-800-S...FS0Q7Aod5zcA9A

* This is what I run in mine, http://www.walmart.com/ip/14958681?w...236566&veh=sem

10) Who makes a shorter aftermarket silencer without the spark arrestor?
* See post 41 to cut down for silencer. http://www.gasgasrider.org/forum/sho...t=18252&page=5

11) How is stock jetting?
* Here is the link to the jetting thread, my specs are on post 219.

There are threads with more detail on most of these issues, I'll update with the links when I find them. This is probably not an issue on the newer bikes but I would check that your water pump impeller clears your water pump cover.

Here are the ones I know:

1) 50:1 here - no issues.

2) 1 1/8 with cross bar. You might want to get some BRP hand guard mounts or you're going to have a frustrating time getting it all to fit.

5) 13/48 I believe.

6) 6 speed, although I don't know that I've ever made it up that high!

9) FMF Gnarly

10) Richard Wilson at House of Horsepower makes a nice silencer with or without a spark arrestor

11) I had to rejet both my 2013 300 and 2014 200.

Congrats on the new bike - you're going to love it!

And may I NOT suggest Enduro Engineering radiator guards for this particular bike. They are not very good.

Are your handlebars renthal twin walls? If so the bore on the ends is larger than most and can cause some hand guards to not be able to secure very well at the bar ends.

They are twinwall copies so have the smaller bar end opening.

Just ordered a shorty silencer from House of Horsepower...now where can I get extra air filters?

How many do you want? I have pre-oiled twin airs, unused in the oem packaging I'd be willing to part with a couple.

Not sure if this applies to 2014 but check that your rear brake hose does not rub on your engine case
