Carb overflow question

Just curious as it happened on my ktm...has anyone ever had their carb keep overflowing after changing premix ratios? Say from 38:1 to 50:1?

The float needle isn't seating/sealing. If you use gas with ethanol in it then the rubber tip of the needle may be degraded.
If it doesn't have a rubber tip then there may be some crud in there or the float is sticking.
I can't imagine how the oil ratio could be the cause of this though.

I'm thinking that different premix oils have different viscosity.

I've had several bikes do this to me this year. In all situations the float needle looked perfect. I replaced them anyway and the problem stopped. It's just ethanol fuel....

I run 93 ethanol free. I'm going to check the float level. Might go ahead and replace the float needle too.
