Default Marzocchi 48mm 2nd service

Just put my forks back together. This time the bleeding was much easier. After the initial bleed, all it took was to fully stroke the damper rod and the excess oil/air was expelled. I could see the PFP piston through the holes overtravel, and then drop as the excess was vented. No rapid movement needed this time, I suspect due to less internal stiction. I start with cartridge oil level @ 125mm so I'm sure there is enough excess to carry trapped air with it. With the initial bleed as described previously, all it takes is a good one arm lean on the compression assembly and twist to engage the threads.
