Kind of tangenting a bit here.
Ive tried all of the above tires, and thought that the Pirelli Mid Soft front was the best of that lot. Didn't have much time for any of their rears though. The MidSoft Pirelli is very similar to the Six Days Soft Metzeler front tire.
Currently running a M403 Bridgestone on the front, and I think its a phenomenal tire, works well in mud and slick stuff, doesn't chunk in rocks, works in sand. That's paired with a Michelin S12XC on the back, a 130 wide one, has bigger knobs, doesn't chunk, seems to grip well even after rounding off.
