I just received my two new needles in the mail,N3EG and N3CG. I pulled my carb apart, it had 40 pilot, 178 main, CHN needle(wtf?) on the 4th clip from the top.Does anyone know much about this CHN, I heard it was a super lean needle for emissions testing. I was wondering why the dealer stuck this in my ride. I was thinking about ordering a 42 pilot and going with the N3EG. Or to try the N3EG with the installed 40 pilot and the installed 178 main( top end is good she howls like a demon.)? Also, does the slide have an identifying number? I ride in Florida, extremely humid, super high humidity, 0 to 100 feet or so above sea level and usually in very deep sand.
