I put a new pipe on and topped off the coolant. It still leaked coolant out the overflow hose. And it was cold and rainy all day.
Try a new radiator cap. I have discovered this solution on three consecutive times with the same condition. Runs hot, bubbles out of the overflow, but never really "boils over." New cap, no problems. And they all had this condition within the last six months. Very strange. A tell-tale sign is looking at the seal on the rad cap, to look for an uneven mark on the rubber. But usually a swap from one bike to the other will help identify the problem/solution.
