Default cheapy dc?

i want to run full lights on my 07 ec300, i have to 2k2 stator, which i already have overworked with my headlight/tail/brake.
(see 07 speedo post) can i just put in a rectifier /cap to run the horn, guages and signal flasher?
im not sure i even understand a rectifier. trailtechs website says dc stator not included, but i thought a rectifier was to convert ac to dc. i already have a street plate(dmv didnt even hesitate) but if i get pulled over, im boned for lack of other required street goodies.
and how much energy can a capacitor store, i mean (not an electrician by any means) it doesnt change the output , just saves it for high demand situations id imagine, ie horn or signals on top of ignition and enduro lights..
i appreciate any help
