I honestly wouldn't change anything chassis or suspension or running gear wise. Love the current engine too but a lighter/smaller version would be a nice upgrade. Keep it all mechanical(PV/carb) as long as possible.
I reckon a 320-340cc 4T to break the mould a little. But ya dead right they gotta nail it first go as 4Ts haven't been their strong point in years past. Maybe a couple more years of quality 2T production. Unfortunately they miss half the market without 4Ts(unlike Sherco/Beta/TM) so hamstring their sales somewhat.
