Your 2010 may be a different distance from the counter shaft
sprocket axis to the clutch hyd. master cylinder than my
1999 EC250. At least on my bike it is possible to mount a 14
tooth countershaft sprocket.

I had to remove the swing arm pivot bolt and slide back the
swing arm to get it to mount.
As well as using a dremel grinder to remove maybe .03-.05 In.
of material from the master cyl.
I am using 14/40 gearing on my EC250SM Motard.
I like it. It was worth the effort for my purposes.
