I found with the stock float setting the carb will drain fuel out the overflow on downhills steeper than 30 degrees. If you ride in steep areas you can waste a lot of fuel out the overflow.

I set the float lower than spec by ~2 mm (when viewed as oriented on the MC). This way there is a lower fuel level in the float bowl - I spill less fuel and get better mileage. I have had no fuel starvation problems, including steep hills.

The RB designs head mod is great - it improves fuel mileage and performance.

I ge about 60 miles out of the stock tank in very tight technical terrain keeping speed up in the corners.
