Default REVERUP Goes 5th and 2nd this weekend

In back to back race days, the Frostbite GP on Saturday and the White knuckle GP on Sunday, which were my first 2 races this season on my 2011 300E, I mustered a 5th place the first day and then a 2nd on the second day in the Senior A class.

Some bike adjustments I did after the first race helped me survive and improve on the second day. Plus it helps to hole shot to the first turn which was probably close to a half mile start strait. 6th Gear and 13\48 gearing works well in the open spaces. Yeah the 300 can certainly hold its own against the 450's.

Both these races are desert GPs put on by the Stumpjumpers M\C. So the race length is 2 and a half hours plus a lap. The course includes a tight and technical endurocross course to make a complete lap around 13 miles. These races were round 2 and 3 of the NMA off road series here in Washington. Very little rock here just very silty soil, brush, and some bogs littering the rolling topography with natural terrain jumps. I'll add some pics as I receive them.

These 2 races were a good warm up for the largest Desert race in Washington, the Desert 100, which is coming up this Sunday. It is a Hare and hound that features two 50 mile laps of rocky silty gnarl, but with of course the open high speeds of the desert. Bomb start of up wards of 1,000 desert nuts running wide open like nothing but being the first to the finish matters.
