Default Quick swingarm/linkage bearing change question

2001 xc300
The rear bearings on the swingarm that connect to the linkage, er, the dogbones I guess (contained in the All Balls linkage kit, not the swingarm kit, just FYI) look like they might seat on something that keeps them spaced apart. I don't see a spacer on the parts diagram, but I'm not sure I see the bearings either...
(page 6 on the 2000 ec mc sm partslist pdf)

So, my questions are...
Do the bearings press straight through for removal, or is there a fixed spacer that prevents that?
Is there a sliding spacer?
If there is no spacer, is there a trick for setting the bearings at the right depth?
Do I worry too much?

Thanks for any advice.
I'll be setting up my cheapo hydraulic press from Harbor Freight now.
