If it was running strong and just started doing this I'd start with the simple things. Pipe off, check the power valve is in the closed position (attachment 1) Use the kick starter to roll the piston over and check the rings for blow by (attachment 2). If the powervalve isn't in the right position report back and we'll go from there. Snap some pics if you can. They always help  |

2, 10 - 15 hours after the change of the piston
3, I changed the piston and rings (and other parts), raised the needle one notch
4, I feel a loss power off the bottom

now riding at -10 degrees Celsius (14 F) - everything works fine, the sound was gone, the bike pulls very well
the engine behaves badly when -20 degrees Celsius (-4F)

Throttle valve/slide = 7
N1EF (2nd clip)
main jet 180
pilot jet 40
air screw setting - 2.5 turn out
I think I should change to smaller jets
