Over the last couple of weeks:
- Put on AS3 kickstart lever to replace OEM that was getting dangerous as it had worn that badly that the lever was sloping down when trying to kick it. New lever works great, more confident now to kick it over with sandals on when working on it in shed.
- Had leak in radiator fixed by radiator repairer. The leak was coming from the LHS upper hose nozzle that had been bent in due to contact between the tank & the hose clamp screw. Rotated the hose clamp on reinstalling to give more clearance (I think Doc Brown made a comment earlier on this but I couldn't see which radiator nozzle was the problem - now I know)
- Put in new oversize Vertex "C" piston at 150 hrs, now on third piston.
- Changed jetting for hotter summer temps, going a bit leaner from NECG 3rd clip to NEDG on 2nd top clip. For some reason it was running leaner at WOT with new piston so I have increased main from 175 to 178.
