I have same same problems as listed above. however, I cannot set the preload on my shocks. For some reason the flat head screw inside the big red adjuster does not reach a fully closed position, no matter how many time I turn it. I?m not sure if I?m doing something wrong or not. I had same issues with one of my rebound adjusters. So I removed that cap to inspect it. Well turns out that the screw head snapped off from the threaded adjustment part, (all self contained in the cap)

So start looking for a new fork tube cap.
