i have an 04 and a 09. the subframe on the 09 is compleatly different, no way would i try to modify a 04 to fit 09 stuff. But the mounting points on the main frame seem to be the same...
there are conversion kits available.
basically the conversion is:
new subframe,
new/different air box, ( i belive the rubber boot for the carby is modifyable to the newer style air box)
different plastics.
im pretty sure you need to get a newer seat as well.
ALSO, older kx subframes do fit, with some minor modifications, but its the same shape as the older GG subframes, and nothing like the newer ones...
