It's more stable under braking, you can turn over bumps that would cause concerns with a two-track motorcycle. The MP3 has locking front suspension (electromechanical) so you can push a button and walk away. Or push a button and never put your feet down. Even though it leans it's still more stable than a motorcycle.


And regarding why? Why not? It's nice to see a company take risks, and if it gets more people on motorcycles, and helps promote bikes as basic transportation instead of secondary (or even lower status), then I'm all for it.

But that Yamaha does look weird, that's for sure.
