Altogether this has cost ?35 about $56 to recondition them fully from tired worn out 13 year old forks into new (ish) forks that hopefully will deliver the goods on the bumpy stuff better than they would before I stripped them down.
For reference to re-anodise them was going to be about ?180 about $289 which was about a third of the cost of the bike
