I guess you're talking about Hodges Village Dam, which is run by the Army Corps. of Engineers.
There was an enduro run through there last weekend. The trails are pretty nice.
Get there early and get out early before the "Metal Mullisha" show up and start riding the trails the wrong way, doing donuts and wheelies in the parking area, etc.
Also, make sure your paperwork is in order. The rangers do try to maintain some degree of order.
I went there once, other than riding the enduros through there. We got there @ 9:00 and only got one loop in before the idiots showed up. No way was I hanging around to be associated with, or risk a collision with, those idiots.
